I wouldn’t know - shipped by post in a labour dispute
The company shipped by regular postal service when Canada Post went on strike days before. These were Christmas gifts I won’t see until March after they return to work and get through the backlog. When I wrote the company about the issue with shipping they didn’t respond. Epic fail.

Dear,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected shipping delay during the Canada Post strike. At the time of shipping, we were unfortunately unaware of the impending postal disruption in Canada. To ensure our customers are better informed in the future, we have since added a notification on our website for Canadian customers regarding such potential issues.
Regarding your concern about shipping methods, since these items are shipped internationally, using alternative couriers such as DHL would result in significantly higher shipping costs, which may not be feasible for many customers. However, we completely understand the frustration caused by this delay and are working on improving our shipping options.
Additionally, we take pride in our responsive customer service and can confirm that all inquiries are addressed within 24 hours at most. If you did not receive a reply, we kindly ask you to check your spam or junk folders, as emails may sometimes be inadvertently filtered.
We deeply regret that your gifts may not arrive on time and are truly sorry for the disappointment this has caused. We do have hope canada post will resolve the strike and deliver packages before Christmas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly if there is anything further we can do to assist.
Warm regards,

Well given that your post office in Slovenia would have refused to ship based on the strike, you did know about the issue and chose to ship by post anyway.
Many people won't know that the shipping postal service keeps abreast of potential international shipping delays and interruptions. Currently, post offices across the globe are refusing to receive shipments to Canada for this reason. Slovenia's post office would have known. This strike was a year in the making. If you are taking orders you should be shipping by a courier in advance of Christmas.
I would not know about the options and increase in shipping costs with DHL because you didn't ask nor offer that.
Your response is not good enough. This was not without knowledge, you are representing as a North American company, but not telling your customers you're shipping from Slovenia.

Love them! Well made too. They’ll be part of a Christmas gift!
“I’m Baked Too” Mitts and Potholder set.
My daughter runs a Cottage Sourdough Bakery from her home. She laughed and so did I. She loves them! They’re great!
I can not wait to use these as gifts.
I am thinking of wrapping and giving them for Christmas in August! Lol
